So... I haven't posted in a long time. So, this is my coming back post.

We've been pretty busy with Christmas preparations, school, and we are now going to dance class every Monday night. I also got a Face book, so, I use that a lot, which kind of takes time away from blogger. ;)

At Dance class we learn folk and ballroom dancing, such as the Salty Dog Rag(that's the dance that Autumn and I are doing in that photo), Upon A Summer's Day, Bacca Pipes, The Patty Cake Polka, Edelweiss, and even rapper, which is dancing with swords with handles on both ends. You can normally find all of these dances on youtube if you want to know what they look like. On the 9th, we are going to a pirate dance.

School is going pretty well, we go back from Christmas break Monday.

Did you all have a good Christmas and New Years?

I did. I enjoyed spending time with my family. Mac will be home from college for almost another month so we will look forward to spending time with him.

And Autumn has a new cat. :) His name is Casper.

YAY!!! Some friends of ours are coming over for a cookout tonight!!! And,... Autumn is home to visit!!! My friend Becca spent the night last night, and the night before. I will show some pics. of last night soon!

New glasses, and a few other things

Theses are my new glasses!

They are so comfy! I don't like the plastics, because the nose is really shallow... so I picked out really cute ones, and they're wire framed!!! YAY!

And Mac is courting a girl named Ashley!!! It's sooo exciting!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥:D More details soon!

A Trip To The Eye-Doctor

Well, I went to the Eye-Doctor on Wednesday... It went pretty well. Finally! My eyes got a little better! And so I chose new glasses. They are purple rimmed wire frames with the frame only going over-top of the lenses. The bottom doesn't have a frame. They are rectangle and really cute!! They have the lenses so, hopefully they'll be done this week!

Collin is on Vacation

Collin is on his way to Philmont, New Mexico right now. He is going with the boy scout troop. I'll miss him, but I'll be okay, cause I know he'll have fun.

Hair

Right now, I am not washing my hair with shampoo!
I can tell you a few reasons why.
When you use shampoo, it puts many oils in your hair that aren't good for your skin. This is one of the reasons why your hair gets greasy. My mom did research, and she found out that the best thing to use is baking soda and vinegar.
No, you do not put them on at the same time and get a chemical reaction on top of your head.
You put baking soda and water in a squirt bottle, and find your hair part line. Oh, don't get your hair wet before putting the baking soda water in your hair. if you do, then you will dilute the baking soda water too much, and won't do any thing. After you find your hair part line, then you squeeze the bottle in lines on your head. Then, gently rub it into your scalp in circular motion. Don't use your finger nails, but the tips of your fingers. Now you rinse your hair well. Next, you get the vinegar. I use one to two tablespoons mixed in to a cup of water for about an inch below my shoulder. Again you pour it on a little bit at a time, and once you have that done, you rinse your hair well. And, your done!


I started doing it today, and my mom and Autumn said that my hair looks like American girl doll hair, which is really shiny and healthy looking when you brush with the american girl doll brush.

Summer

It's been a long time since I've posted! First, Mac is 18 now. Here are some pictures of his birthday.

I will finish school soon! I am very excited for it to be over. I enjoy school, but it will be great to take a break. My schedule of things to do:

1. Lounge in the pool.

2. Get excercise in the pool.

3. Stay in the pool all. day. long!

Back To Posting

Hey! I am finally back to posting, and hopefully, I will keep up! Not much is new except that I am on spring break. I have been really busy with school, piano, etc. Our church went to a nursing home and sang again, and all went great. Our will hopefully do the same performance at more nursing homes. I sang a solo, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow. We did a variety of old music including: April Showers, Tiptoe through The Tulips, Wait Till The Sun Shines Nellie, I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover, and four of the girls did singing in the rain. We also did Easter Parade, and The barbershop quartet that our church has sang Aura Lee, and For Me and My Gal. And two more solos were sung by different people. Carolina in The Morning, and All The Things You Are. We also did some praise music. It was very fun. I hope you have a good week!

Computer Problems

The reason I haven't posted in a while is... Our computer crashed. So... Now we have to use Dad's laptop, which is very hard to do. When we took the computer to the repair shop, they said that it would be really expensive. So, Mom bought a Mac. It should arrive between the 4th, and the 10th. So,now you know why I hadn't posted.

I missed my 100 post, so I will do it now. I will put ten things:

1. I would rather do school than dry dishes.

2. My favorite subject is Math.

3. I can tell directions to people better than my older brother.

4. I have never had to go to the hospital for an emergency, with the exception of being born.

5. I like squid.

6. I am home schooled.

7. I like to write books.

8. My sister is engaged.

9. Last year, in 2008, we got a pool.

10. I am the youngest.

Icy

Last night it rained. Freezing rain!!!!! Our church is canceled until 5:00, so we are probably not having Bible Study. We will probably just have our regular Morning Worship, except it's in the evening instead. I am so excited! I do not have school tomorrow! Since it's Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I haven't been outside, but this morning, my dad said that I probably wouldn't be able to walk on the ice, but it's probably better now. I hope you have a great day!

Gingerbread Houses

Tonight we are decorating Gingerbread Houses! It will be very fun. I have a bunch of ideas. I will post pictures when they are done. We are doing two person a house. Mac and Grandma aren't doing one though. It will be, Collin and I, Mom and Dad, and Autumn and her fiance Jon. It is all about Christmas now, because our Holiday Birthdays are over. His Birthday was yesterday. happy Birthday Dad!
